Saves around a third of the bandwidth on a video-heavy offer, and nothing on an offer without video. Not free: the page can tell its video was blocked, the same way it can tell an ad blocker is running. Uncheck it for an offer where that matters.
Pictures are answered with a blank placeholder before they are requested, so the page sees them as loaded; tracking pixels, gifs and anything carrying a click id still load. Measured at 50–85% of a store's bytes together with video. The one thing it can get wrong is a conversion pixel served as a plain .png or .jpg with nothing in its URL to say so — untick it on an offer like that.
Theme scripts and styles, fonts, public library files and the library files of Google Tag Manager, Facebook, TikTok, Clarity and Klaviyo are kept on the server after a check fetches them and answered from there on later checks, for at most two hours; then the next check fetches them fresh and the clock restarts. Nothing dynamic is ever reused: every hit, pixel, page and redirect still goes out live, and a tracker still sees a new visitor with new cookies. Measured at a further 3 MB or so per check once warm.
